Diane Peavey started working in the insurance business in 1990, when she joined the business that her father, Bruce, started in 1984. In 2001, Bruce retired from the agency, leaving Diane & her husband Keith as agency owners. Diane resides in Madison with her husband, a cat, some chickens & many Scottish Highlander beef cattle. Her greatest joy is spending time with her adult children, and her grandson, Augustine!
Vicki Mayne has been with Tanner Insurance since April of 1997. She and her husband reside in Madison and enjoy spending time with their kids. She looks forward to sitting around a fire, playing horseshoes and bowling with friends. Vicki treasures the moments with her family and is always following events that their kids are involved with.
April Staelens joined in June of 2011.She was a policy service specialist at The Hartford.She lives in Madison with her husband, James, her two daughters, Jasmine and Isabella., and her stepson James Jr.During her down time, April enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Shelly Coon joined the agency in February of 2023. She lives in Oriskany Falls with her husband and 3 kids. We are all HUGE animal lovers. We are also Foster parents! I’m most passionate about helping others and giving back to my community. I’m a volunteer Firefighter, and currently in training to be a EMT. I spent many years in healthcare, but recently made the switch and joined the Insurance industry. I love to help our customers really understand their insurance policy and making sure they’re properly insured. I love to travel, go for walks, and of course spending time with my family.
Lisa Flaherty has been with TIA since September 2008 and is a Licensed Account Executive. She is originally from the Albany area where she was a commercial insurance auditor. She also was Office Manager for an agency in Harrisville NY where she was awarded the Rosaynne M. Light Memorial Scholarship to obtain the CISR designation. She currently resides with her family in Eaton, NY. When Lisa is not in the office, you can usually find her spending time with her friends & family.
Cheyenne Johnson joined us in July 2019 at our Oneida office as a Commercial Lines CSR and is now a Licensed Account Executive and Office Manager, coming from the Early Childhood Education field. Cheyenne resides in Canastota with her husband, their 2 children, and farm animals! She enjoys spending her time outside doing things with her family and friends.
Neil Collins joined Tanner Insurance in January of 2017 as a Farm Specialist. Neil will primarily work out of our Madison Office, but will assist farm owners all over NYS. Neil has been involved in agriculture his whole life, from owning a dairy farm, and currently tapping approximately 2,500 maple trees to produce maple syrup. In his off time he enjoys camping, gardening, and spending time with his wife and 4 pets.
Kate joined the insurance industry in 2017 until 2021. Originally from Ransomville, NY, She has recently relocated to Hubbardsville, NY. She took the last 3 years to work on her personal health and focus on family. Kate used that time to become a licensed personal trainer helping not only herself but others with their success stories. Kate is eager to be back in the insurance world all while her kids are keeping her busy with Cheer, Baseball and Soccer games. Outside of spending time with family; she enjoys working out, camping and being a fun loving mom!
Tish Gelardi joined us in May 2023 at our Oneida location as a Licensed Account Executive. She has extensive customer service experience in the financial, telecom and hospitality industries. She truly enjoys helping others and being a presence within the community. But also, finds her role as a mother and wife extremely satisfying too.
Bill Basher lives in Hamilton, New York, and has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry as a commercial producer, property and casualty adjuster, claims manager, and auditor. He specializes in Commercial Lessors Risk and Multi-Family apartments. In his spare time, he volunteers in the Hamilton Fire Department, chairs multiple fundraising committees for non-profits, and enjoys hiking in the Adirondack Mountains.
Dale-Lynne Wust joined in February of 2018. as a Personal Lines CSR. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1998. She lives in Edmeston, NY with her husband, son and pups! She enjoys going to the races and watching her son race his 602 crate sportsman!
Lexus joined Tanner Insurance Agency in May 2019 as a Personal Lines CSR. She has been in the Insurance industry since 2016. She resides in Fabius, NY with her husband, Dog and four cats. In her free time, she enjoys camping, boating, spending time with her family & friends and taking vacations to her favorite Island Aruba
Joshua Peavey started working at Tanner Insurance agency in January of 2017 after graduating from Roberts Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in International Business. Joshua works on our staff as a service representative who licensed in property and casualty insurance. During his free time, Joshua loves to train for and compete in triathlons, spend time outdoors, and read. Joshua also serves his unit in the Army National Guard part time as a combat engineer.
Ashly Rusaw joined in August of 2023. She lives on a farm in New Haven, NY with her husband, three kids and her four legged best friend. She enjoys cooking, spending time at home hosting get togethers for family and friends and getting her hands dirty with her plants!
